Dothan Punches Ticket to Birmingham, Storms Back to Defeat Enterprise 52–46

Dothan is headed to Birmingham.

In a dramatic 7A Central Regional Final, the Wolves erased a double-digit halftime deficit to knock off Enterprise 52–46 and secure their spot in the Final Four inside Legacy Arena.

First Half – Enterprise in Control

The first half mirrored the previous matchups won by Enterprise — slow, methodical, and physical. The Wildcats pounded the ball inside, taking full advantage of their height and size.

2026 PF Aidan Williams (Montevallo signee) controlled the paint early with 12 first-half points on 4-of-5 shooting, 3-of-5 from the line, and 1-of-2 from three, while adding six rebounds in a dominant opening stretch.

2026 G Ben Freeman added five points on 2-of-3 shooting, highlighted by a momentum-shifting steal and dunk that ignited the Enterprise crowd.

2026 F Tucker Wadsworth chipped in four points on 2-of-4 shooting (0-of-2 from three), while 2026 C Brady Wadsworth dominated the glass with eight first-half rebounds — four offensive — along with four points.

As a team, Enterprise owned the interior. They outscored Dothan 20–8 in the paint and outrebounded the Wolves 27–5 in the first half alone.

Dothan struggled offensively, shooting just 4-of-20 from the field and 0-of-6 from three in the half. However, the Wolves stayed within striking distance by forcing 12 first-half turnovers — though they converted those into just four points.

Enterprise carried a 27–14 lead into halftime.

Third Quarter – The Diggy Coleman Show

Early in the third quarter, Enterprise pushed the lead to 15 and appeared ready to pull away.

Then everything changed.

It became the Diggy Coleman show.

The 2026 combo guard exploded for 14 of Dothan’s 16 third-quarter points, going 6-of-10 from the floor, 1-of-2 from three, and attacking downhill relentlessly. He earned repeated trips to the free-throw line, converting 6-of-8 in the period.

Meanwhile, Enterprise mustered just five points in the quarter. By the end of the third, Dothan had trimmed a 13-point halftime deficit down to just two and completely seized momentum.

Fourth Quarter – Closing Time

The final period belonged to Coleman once again.

He poured in another 11 points in the fourth, scoring from all three levels and sparking a run that Enterprise could not withstand.

2029 PG Josiah “JoJo” McKay was outstanding defensively in the second half, applying relentless on-ball pressure that disrupted Enterprise’s guards and made it difficult to initiate offense. McKay recorded three critical steals and added four points, including a clutch basket in the waning moments that helped seal the game.

2027 G Daylan “Woo” Coleman finished with 12 points, including a backbreaking corner three in the fourth quarter that further deflated Enterprise’s momentum.

Key Performers

Dothan

  • Diggy Coleman — 30 points, 10-of-14 shooting, 2-of-3 from three, 8-of-11 from the line, 2 assists, 3 rebounds, 4 turnovers
  • Daylan “Woo” Coleman — 12 points
  • No other Wolf scored more than four points

Enterprise

  • Aidan Williams — 20 points, 10 rebounds, 7-of-10 from the field, 1-of-2 from three, 5-of-7 from the line
  • Brady Wadsworth — 9 points, 15 rebounds (8 offensive)
  • Tucker Wadsworth — 9 points, 6 rebounds, 4-of-12 shooting, 0-of-3 from three

Enterprise outrebounded Dothan 49–15 for the game — yet the Wolves’ offensive explosion in the second half proved to be enough.

DWill’s Thoughts

This game flipped in the third quarter. That stretch is where you could feel the energy shift inside the building. Dothan’s defensive pressure started to speed up Enterprise, and once Diggy Coleman found his rhythm, the confidence on that sideline completely changed. When you combine defensive intensity with a guard who can score from all three levels, that’s a dangerous formula in March. From that point on, momentum had permanently swung in Dothan’s favor.

Final Thoughts

Enterprise finished the game with 23 turnovers — and that ultimately proved to be the difference. While the Wildcats dominated the glass and controlled much of the first half, the Wolves’ defensive pressure created extra possessions and momentum-changing opportunities that fueled the comeback.

Dothan capitalized when it mattered most, turning defensive intensity into offensive rhythm in the second half.

With the win, Dothan advances to the Final Four inside Legacy Arena, where they will face Tuscaloosa County with the coveted Blue Map still in sight.
