McAdory picked up a strong win at Birmingham Ball, knocking off Wetumpka 75–62 behind a special performance from 2026 point guard Sean-Ryan Hudson, who poured in a career-high 46 points to carry the Yellow Jackets.
With 2026 CG Darrion Reddock (Calhoun Community College signee) sidelined and currently in concussion protocol, McAdory needed someone to step up offensively — and Hudson answered in a big way.
Game Breakdown
From the opening tip, McAdory leaned on Hudson to control the game. He was aggressive off the bounce, confident from the perimeter, and relentless attacking the rim. Whether Wetumpka tried to speed him up or load help, Hudson consistently found ways to score.
McAdory built separation by winning the guard battle and knocking down timely shots, while also doing enough defensively to keep Wetumpka from going on extended runs. Even without one of their top scoring options in Reddock, the Yellow Jackets never lost composure.
Wetumpka competed and made pushes throughout the game, but every time momentum began to swing, Hudson responded with another bucket — keeping McAdory firmly in control.
Standout Performer
Sean-Ryan Hudson (2026, PG)
- Career-high 46 points
- Scored at all three levels
- Controlled tempo and late-game possessions
Hudson’s performance was the clear difference in the game and one of the top individual showings of the Birmingham Ball event and in the state overall all season long.
Final Thoughts
McAdory’s ability to adjust without Reddock and still execute offensively speaks to their depth and guard play. If Hudson continues to play with this level of confidence and control, the Yellow Jackets will remain a tough out moving forward.
